Leafield has worked with the UK MoD since 1992 and provides a range of services.

We store some 150,000 line items in our high security and environmentally controlled storage facilities. We maintain a database of over 6.25 million parts across 75 NSC Groups in 400 NSC Classes and have 850,000 parts cross referenced with over 4 million alternative part numbers.

We provide a fast response collection service from any UK MoD site across the country and our performance is continuously monitored not just for timeliness but also for the quality of our performance.

Leafield has a substantial track-record of inter-action with UK MoD Departments and the Royal Navy, in both support and disposal fields.

We also provide long term storage to maximise the period when parts are available for resale but we operate a rolling review to recognise when sale to a foreign navy is no longer a likely prospect and so release the product to the commercial market.

This long term storage facility has also proved useful to UK MoD where occasionally parts that were considered surplus may subsequently be required again within the Royal Navy and we can withdraw them from our stock and return them to the UK MoD.
